Founded in 1926, the Medical Group Management Association is the nation's principal voice for medical group practices. MGMA's 22,500 members manage and lead more than 13,700 organizations in which more than 275,000 physicians practice. Its diverse membership comprises administrators, CEOs, physicians in management, board members, office managers, and many other management professionals. They work in medical practices and ambulatory care organizations of all sizes and types, including integrated systems and hospital and medical school affiliated practices. The MGMA AdminiServe preferred vendor program provides all MGMA members with vendors that have been chosen by MGMA because they provide a "best in class" product or service.

The Professional Association of Health Care Office Management was founded in January 1988 for the explicit purpose of providing a support system to the managers of group and solo physician practices.

Florida Medical Association
