Rachel Barnett, Controller
Rachel joined notifymd in 2001 and brings over 10 years of experience in financial reporting and budgeting. Before joining notifymd, she served as an auditor for KPMG, working with healthcare, banking, and non-profit clients. Rachel began her career doing budgeting and bookkeeping for the Admissions and Registrars office at Murray State University. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting form Murray State University.
David Bednowitz, President, COO and CFO
David joined notifymd in February 1997. He has more than 20 years of experience in directing various operating entities, overseeing Human Resource/Administrative responsibilities, and managing Accounting and Finance departments. Prior to joining notifymd, he served as manager of accounting for the largest healthcare system in Michigan. Prior to that position, David was supervisor of accounting for a growth-oriented technology company, directing the accounting operations and implementation of various accounting and billing systems. He began his career in public accounting with a large regional firm based in suburban Detroit. David received a Bachelor of Accounting Degree from Walsh College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
David resides in Brentwood, Tenn. with his wife, two kids, and two energetic puppies. He is known around the office as "Mr. Trivia" for his knowledge of useless and obscure information. "It is important that people enjoy what they do, and creating an exciting and fun environment is essential for a company to be successful."
Jason Johnson, Vice President of IT
Jason has been employed with notifymd since June 2004. Jason brings over 15 years of voice and data technology experience and was previously the director of IT. Prior to notifymd, he was a Senior Systems/Business Consultant with Cincinnati Bell Technology Services, where he specialized in voice and data integration technology. Jason has managed and designed infrastructure and technology projects for the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Super Speedway, United Technologies, and other large firms. He has brought a wealth of communications knowledge to notifymd and has designed and implemented a Voice Over IP infrastructure that delivers tens of thousands of calls per day to our call centers.
Jason lives in Thompson's Station, Tenn. where he enjoys time with his family, martial arts, and music. "notifymd is a tremendous organization that has strong ethical beliefs and has been an outstanding company that pushes me to grow and to be a better person."
Jonathan McDevitt, CEO
Jonathan joined notifymd in 2002 and brings 15 years of experience in process design, product development, operations management, and information technology leadership. Jonathan previously worked as a Strategic Planning Manager for Cummins Engine Corporation, the world's largest manufacturer of diesel engines. Jonathan began his career with the Aspen Skiing company as the Director of Race Operations. Jonathan holds a Master in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina.
Jonathan, his wife, and two sons live in Nashville, Tenn. He enjoys skiing, fly fishing, mountain biking, and flying small airplanes. "I enjoy changing the way our business and our customers operate. Technology is changing for the better the way healthcare is delivered, and it is exciting to be at the forefront of that trend."
Rosemarie Segarra, Senior Vice President of Operational Development
Roe joined notifymd in 1989 and has over 20 years of call center experience. Roe began her career as an operator while pursuing her undergraduate studies and since that time has held a variety of positions throughout the organization, including Assistant Manager, General Manager, Director of Call Center Services, and Vice President of Operations. Roe holds a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from the State University of New York and an undergraduate degree from the College of New Rochelle.
Roe lives in Westchester County, New York. She enjoys spending time outdoors and pursing an interest in complementary energy therapy. "It is exciting to be learning from and contributing to an organization that has been on the leading edge of developing and providing innovative services to the medical community."
Kimberly Watts, Vice President of Sales
Kimberly joined notifymd in 2002 and brings over 15 years of sales and marketing experience to the team. While attending the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Kimberly began her career in Marketing and Public Relations with the Big Oak Ranch, a privately owned, not-for-profit children's home outside of the city. There, Kimberly oversaw celebrity charity events and donor relations to meet a $1.5 million fundraising budget each year. In 1997, she moved to Nashville and spent five years working in Nashville and New York City on the business/public relations side of the music and film industries. Always having a passion and motivation to work with people and make a difference in the lives of others, Kimberly followed this passion to healthcare and notifymd in 2002.
Kimberly lives in Franklin, Tenn. She enjoys travel, photography, and spending time with family and friends. "I love being a contributor in such a thriving, best-of-breed organization. The solutions that we provide fill a tremendous gap in patient communications. It's exciting to see that impact that our services have on the facilities that we work with. We truly are helping providers take better care of their patients."
Sharon Cullenberg, Vice President, Maine Operations
Sharon joined notifymd in March 2007. With 20 years of business management expertise, she became the General Manager of the Farmington and Winthrop call centers in Maine. Her experience in the call center industry began in 2001 when she became the Operations Manager for ACS, Inc., a Fortune 10 BPO call center. Her responsibilities centered on the development of several campaigns, ranging from financial services to health insurance services. Prior to that position, she worked as the Director of Materials Management for Franklin Memorial Hospital, where she managed purchasing and distribution for all supplies and equipment. Sharon was also Manager of Customer Services, including Consumer Affairs and Telemarketing, at G H Bass & Company for 11 years. She began her career as the Executive Director of the Tri Valley United Way in Farmington, Maine, serving all of Franklin County.
A native of Maine, Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Maine at Farmington and a Certificate in Training and Development from the University of Southern Maine. She and her husband, Ron, reside in Farmington.
Sue Eaves, Vice President, St. Louis Operations
Sue joined notifymd as the Vice President for the St. Louis call center in September 1999. Sue's vast experience in the call center industry began in 1965 as an operator. Her call center roles and responsibilities have covered all aspects of the business, including oversight of training, operations, and customer service. Sue was the acting owner of Answer-Missouri, Inc. when notifymd acquired the company in 1999.
Sue began her career in healthcare as a dental hygienist and practice manager. She has been and continues to be an active participant in several answering service associations (ATSI, NAEO, and Snug).
Laura Greenwood, Vice President, Jacksonville Operations
Laura began her call center career over 15 years ago with American Express Corporation. Since then, she has been responsible for Customer Service/Call Centers for Sears Home Services, Home Depot Corporation, and Director of Healthcare Operations at Connections, Inc. Laura resides in Atlantic Beach, Florida.
Ron Niles, Vice President, New Rochelle Operations
Ron joined notifymd in June 1987 and contributes more than 17 years of expertise in the call center business. During Ron's time at notifymd he has been instrumental in "Time Billing" development and implementation. He also created "dispatching" to allow newer operators to answer calls faster. Trained in Professional Inbound software, Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, with a minor in Economics, from Ramapo College of New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning, with a minor in architecture, from Rutgers University.
Dave O'Brien, Vice President, Livingston Operations
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dave graduated from Duquesne University and initially sold advertising for a country/western radio station. Two years later, Dave was recruited to be part of the first advertising sales team for cable television in Pittsburgh for Warner/Amex. In 1993, Dave accepted a position with a cable company on the island of Saipan.
Dave was later promoted and relocated to be General Manager of the company's larger cable operation on Guam, where he oversaw all aspects of the operation, including an inbound and outbound call center. In 2001, Dave relocated to the U.S. and worked for Dish Network in a customer service call center. In September 2005 Dave joined notifymd. Dave is married and has one son.
Freda Weinerth, Vice President, Moosic Operations
Freda joined notifymd in January 1991. She contributes more than 15 years of expertise in telecommunications, specifically in call center applications. Prior to joining notifymd, she was a member of the management team for MediMessage, a hospital-based physician call center. Freda was also office manager for Drs. Oven and Barrette from 1975-1983. During that time, she was responsible for all aspects of patient care, staffing, and account billing/insurance coding.
